Biden Meets With Coast Guard Service Members on Thanksgiving

President Joe Biden on Thursday met with Coast Guard service members in Nantucket, Massachusetts, and also held a virtual call with U.S. service members from the six branches of the military, as part of his activities on Thanksgiving. The president and first lady Jill Biden wished Americans a happy Thanksgiving prior to their trip to the island of Nantucket for the holiday. “As we give thanks for what we have, we also keep in our hearts those who have been lost and those who have lost so much,” the president said in a videotaped greeting with the first lady by his side.
